Two weeks from today, my husband and a team of people from our church leave for Haiti. Please read the following and join us in praying for these current needs.
My husband encountered some difficulty finding a specific vaccine. There were several that he had to have. He has received all but one. Living on an island, the local resources have been depleted rather quickly. Supposedly the pharmacy ordered more and should have one for him as of today. That is a good thing. Today is the last day that he should take this vaccine prior to leaving.
Please keep him and the other team members in your prayers. Several people have recently been sick with congestion and cough. . I am praying for complete health for him and all of the team. That they may all leave this island feeling well and rested so they can work hard while they are away.
My husband had some bleeding in one of his ears this week and he is now on antibiotics. He was driving in a higher elevation area the other day, and his ears and sinuses had been quite plugged from this congestion. While driving he experienced a great amount of ear pain. As you know this is not good for flying. He has some blood in his ear canal and some difficulty hearing. Please pray with us for his complete healing.
Please continue to pray with us for the rest if the finances to come in for the whole team.
Continued preparation for everyone’s heart and mind as they get ready to minister to the people of Haiti. Praying for strength – that the Lord would keep everyone strong in body and spirit. I am praying that people on the team will get specific messages to share with the people of Haiti. That the Holy Spirit would reveal truths to their hearts and confirm for them what He wants them to share.
Thank you Lord for your provison and protection. Please continue to bring healing and physical strength to the team. Please make available all resources necessary for this journey – finances, building supplies, vaccinations, prayer partners, etc. You see all the needs, and I know that you will meet them. Bless this team for the sacrifice they are making to go to Haiti. Please continue to make provisions for everyone and all their needs. Thank you Father. Amen
