I made it back... This is cute Jess! I can see it now. Ohhhhh, the stories we will tell when we are white-haired and probably still losing a pair of pants or two :) Love you my friend!

I created this recipe because I used to like to make dump cake during the holidays when I was a teenager. So, I added more wholesome ingredients and took out the boxed cake mix...and voila! A sweet treat that is simple and fairly quick to make...

This is a family favorite. I love the colors in this simple pasta dish. There are so many varieties of pasta salads... in the summer I chill this for a while and add tomatoes from the garden. In the winter we eat it served warm with chicken. We like a little extra garlic, so we add to the pesto. This recipe is easily increased.

My friend Maria shared a version of this recipe with me. She makes it for her family and for various occasions and it is always a hit! I chose to recreate the recipe using natural sweetners rather than table sugar, as well as adding more fruit, and flax. Have fun with it and experiemt with flavors you like. This dish is a wonderful treat any day of the week and is a delicious addition to brunch!

I created this dish with Saag Panir in mind. However, I did not necessarily have all the traditional ingredients. This dish is a delicious main dish served along side of a rice dish, and fruit platter. I have also served it as a side with a curry chicken dish. Enjoy the creamy texture, and full flavor. I especially enjoy it with whole grain pita bread.

Uh...since I suffer from delayed intelligence, I usually just smile and keep on walking. :)

I have learned NOT to pop off w/ a clever comeback. You never know where people are coming from or what pain in their own lives they're hiding. I wouldn't want to hurt them. And we do, sometimes, get nice comments--how they wish they'd had more kids, how they grew up w/ lots of siblings, etc.

Imagine how people's heads bob when you have more than six! :) I sometimes save them the trouble and just tell them how many even though they haven't asked. You are blessed indeed!!!

Thank you for your sweet comment. I love your candidness about those library trips...Surely, I am not the mom who looks like she has it all together. I am blessed with my big family, though. Thank you :)
